Printed notification from the Custom House, London, to the Collector at Weymouth with text of Council Office, Whitehall, notice that Yachts of the Royal Yacht Club arriving from the Mediterranean should be released from Quarantine on the same conditions as His Majesty’s Ship’s of War. The Yacht Club had been founded in 1815 and acquired the prefix ‘Royal’ in 1820, becoming The Royal Yacht Squadron in 1833 and continues to organise Cowes Week. Paper watermarked with crowned Britannia. Good condition but disbound at left margin.
