Building and Paving Stone from the Yeovil Quarry. Contents for 2,400 Pan Tiles. Ms note at foot “Mr Hussey claims to be allowed for Turnpike Toll”. Richard Vining was born in Yeovil in 1815, the fourth of six children of mason and brickmaker, Charles Vining. He married Sophia George at Sherborne in 1848 with whom he had six children. By 1851 he employed 8 men. He committed suicide by drowning in a clay pit in 1891. Good condition, creased.
