HS 29 - Invoice from Thomas & Forrest, Breeches Maker, London 1798
Printed Invoice with manuscript insertions from Thomas & Forrest, Breeches Makers To His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales, Corner of James Street, Long Acre for the supply of doeskin breeches to Charles Wren, a Newcastle solicitor, who died in 1799. The typeface of the invoice is very similar to that of David Thomas in March 1797 so Forrest seems likely to have been taken into partnership in 1797 or 1798. Good condition with small seal loss as top left.
