Long invoice (not all scanned) from S. Stokes, Bush Hotel & Tavern, Bristol, with new stables and good lock-up coach houses and ‘Turtle sent to all parts of the Kingdom’. Contents include pea soup, beefsteak, oyster sauce, cheese, beer, port, fire & wax, bed broil ham, mock turtle, roast pork, cod, loin mutton, brandy, sole, boiled beef and continues on reverse. Good condition, some ageing.
